Post 14: Flowing Around Obstacles—Aligning With the Law of Harmony

Let go of resistance and flow with God’s purpose. Discover how daily habits empower you to align with Christ, overcome obstacles, and fulfill your divine mission.

Resistance exhausts; harmony empowers. By aligning daily habits with Christlike purpose, you can stop fighting obstacles and begin flowing toward joy, growth, and becoming like Abba.

Resistance vs. Purpose

Why does resistance fail? It often feels powerful to push against obstacles, yet it leaves us weary and stuck. Raymond Holliwell observed:

“Resistance fails because it is not in accord with harmony and order, which is the Law.”

True harmony comes not from fighting but from flowing. It comes when we stop working against what we don’t want and start working for what we do want. As Holliwell taught:

“The Law does not require us to work over or against the things we do NOT want but it does require us to work with and for that which we DO want.”

This principle invites us to stop resisting and start aligning with God’s purpose: to emulate Christ.

Are You Stuck in the Stream?

Are you caught in the daily grind of a 9-to-5 job? Do you feel the pull to write that book, pursue that mission, or share a talent God has given you—but obligations and bills seem to hold you back?

You’re not alone. For years, I felt the same. I started strong but often faltered. Content creation came and went. Dreams faded into daily demands. I was pushing against limitations—working hard but going nowhere.

But here’s the truth: the stream doesn’t have to stay small.

By emulating Christ daily, the stream becomes a river—one that flows with power and direction toward the ocean of becoming like Abba.

The Stream: A Lesson in Flow

Picture a mountain stream—small, winding, and full of life. Along its path it meets boulders, fallen trees, and debris. But does the stream stop to fight the obstacles?

No.

It flows around them, seeking the path of least resistance, growing stronger with every turn. Its purpose is clear: to become a river and then merge with the ocean. It does not waste energy fighting what stands in its way. It blesses the obstacles by flowing past them.

This is the law of harmony. Growth comes by flowing with purpose—not by resisting.

Owning the River Within

For many years, I worked over limitations, trying to force progress. But in 2023, through Christ’s grace, I was healed. My mind was sound, my body renewed, and my purpose clarified. I stopped fighting—and started flowing.

I now see emulating Christ as the river of life. By aligning daily habits with His teachings, I stepped into the flow of being perfected in Him. Each daily act—each offering—points toward that river and invites others to step in as well.

But the river is not the destination.

The river leads to the ocean—the fullness of becoming like Abba and receiving all that He has.

Resistance Fails, Harmony Flows

Holliwell’s words remain true. Resistance fails because it fights God’s order. When we resist, we stay stuck. When we align with harmony, we move forward.

Non-resistance is not weakness. It is faith. It is the courage to bless the obstacle and keep moving toward Christ.

When we trust the flow of God’s law, we are carried forward—to clarity, abundance, and Zion.

Step Into the River

What is your river gift—a talent, a calling, or a righteous desire you’ve been resisting instead of flowing into?

Take one step today. Establish a small daily habit that aligns with Christ. Let the stream of effort become the river of Christlike living. As you do, God supplies the momentum.

Pray for clarity. Ask, “Lord, what would You have me do?” Then act in faith.

The Power of Alignment

When you emulate Christ, strength increases. Obstacles become stepping stones. Purpose sharpens.

The river of life carries you forward—toward joy, abundance, and becoming like Abba.

Trust the flow. Align with His law. He will guide you to the ocean of His fullness.

Closing Thought

Fighting binds. Flowing frees.

May we bless the obstacles, step into the river of Christ, and flow toward the ocean of becoming like Abba.
